Features
The F-ONE SWING V3 utilizes HITEX 158g and 178g for its airframe. These high tenacity polyester materials, exclusively developed by F-ONE, offer excellent resistance to elongation, resulting in enhanced durability and performance.
The central strut benefits from the thinner diameter of HITEX 158g and an independent valve, allowing for better pressure control. Its longitudinal reinforcements contribute to shape control and increased strength.
The leading edge of the wing features HITEX 178g for the three central segments on each side of the strut, while the remaining segments utilize 158g material. The distribution of these materials is optimized to account for varying tensions, high pressures, and weight distribution in this area.
The wingtips maintain a thin leading edge diameter, providing agility, comfort, glide, lightness, and reduced inertia.
The F-ONE SWING V3 incorporates the new NANO canopy, which utilizes innovative micro ripstop polyester weighing 55g. This material covers the entire canopy except for the trailing edge. With a NANO coating and Plasma treatment, the NANO canopy offers increased rigidity, resistance to elongation and tears, and improved durability.
The trailing edge of the SWING V3 is constructed with HT80, a double ripstop high tenacity polyester. This material significantly enhances tear resistance and strength, particularly in wave conditions when the wing is flagged.
Design
Through Sail Engineering, F-One has developed a completely redesigned wing. Every aspect has been meticulously designed to optimize the wing’s shape in relation to the tensions and new materials.
Each panel on the F-ONE SWING V3 is carefully positioned to bear specific loads. The front of the wing incorporates horizontal panels separated by a vertical seam, while the innovative radial centre panels accurately follow the trajectory of each load. The trailing edge is controlled by an 80g vertical panel. Radial cuts are strategically implemented on the wingtips and back of the strut to distribute tensions. Aligning the fibers precisely along the load paths ensures unprecedented control of stretch in a wing.
The staggered seams of the fabric and their placement contribute to maintaining a smooth and efficient profile. The wing’s shape remains intact even under load, providing ideal profile control, especially in high-end conditions where stability is paramount.
The new trailing edge tensions and radial cuts enhance performance and control. Our innovative Load Diffuser, consisting of overlapping panels of hard Mylar and Dacron, further aids in maintaining a sleek and efficient profile. This leads to ultimate stability, performance, and longevity.
Every reinforcement on this wing has been reassessed to ensure durability and weight savings.
HANDLES
To enhance the rider’s control over the wing, they have reinforced the handles while maintaining their original lightweight construction, which eliminates any hard parts that could potentially damage the wing, board, or the rider. The handles are grippy, ergonomic, and comfortable, allowing for flexibility to keep the wrist aligned with the arm.
This improvement also enabled them to design the strut in an optimal way. The front of the strut aligns directly with the front hand, descending before rising toward the wing’s profile near the back hand. This creates a more natural position for sheeting in.

The F-ONE SWING V3 represents a significant improvement over the V2 in all aspects. It boasts optimized materials and design, resulting in a wing that is exceptionally stable, lightweight, comfortable, and well-balanced, while maintaining a smooth traction feel.
The reduced wingspan of the SWING V3 enhances maneuverability and facilitates smoother changes of direction. Riders can focus on their trajectories, the waves, and controlling their foil without worrying about the wingtips touching the water. The wing maintains a neutral position in the air during wave turns, providing flawless flight and allowing riders to harness the power of the wave with minimal resistance. The compact size, combined with the new, more powerful profile, ensures excellent planing and easy pumping. This enables riders of all levels to use a smaller surface area for enhanced maneuverability. The wing’s traction also allows for the use of smaller boards, providing greater freedom in surfing.
The SWING V3 quickly gains speed with a good angle and can be easily forgotten during freefly. It generates instant power, which proves crucial when exiting a wave or performing a waterstart to reach the next set safely.
