Roberto Ricci: A touch of Italian style

We’ve just added the Roberto Ricci Designs wingboarding collection to our store! You can find wing foil boards, wing foils and their wing, the RRD Wind Wing.

Hydrofoils

Currently offering two foils for the wing foil market. The RRD Universal KSH is the perfect beginner foil as it can be ridden for other foil sports including wind, kite, surf and SUP foiling. A combination of a 75 cm mast and a fuselage of 76 cm create the perfect balance and the foundation of this modern hydrofoil designed to work at lower speeds.

The RRD Universal WH comes with a longer fuselage (100 cm) and mast (85 cm) as well as an interchangeable tuttle head and mast plate making it compatible with either tuttle box or US foil box type board. This foil works great in lighter winds.

Wing Foil Boards

Choose between the RRD Beluga or RRD Pocket Rocket, both new for the Y26 collection. The Beluga will be available in two sizes – 160cm or 170cm – as well as a choice of different constructions (more details below). The Pocket Rocket is slightly more expensive and available in 180cm or 200cm sizes, also across a choice of construction.

Construction

E-TECH
E tech epoxy technology, more flexible than the others, it is perfect for a beginner or someone looking for a less physical board. She is a little less nervous and forgives mistakes more easily. The only drawback is that this construction is a little heavier and takes off a little less quickly in light winds.

LTD
Construction with a carbon deck and an epoxy fiberglass hull. The board is lighter, more nervous. It takes off quickly and reacts instantly to demand. The board is much more efficient but happens to be a little more physical. And yes we have nothing without effort!

Wind Wing

Roberto Ricci pitches the Wind Wing on ‘another level’, with a performance incomparable to any other wing on the market.

The main advantage owing to its extremely rigid structure, created by a large leading edge and solid central strut, combined with a relatively flat – V design, providing an incredible boost of controllable power.

The RRD Wing Wing is available in four sizes, each one customized to suit different wind intensity. The 3m and 4m for stronger and more powerful rides while the 5m and 6m for lighter winds.

Inflatable Boards

The RRD AIR EVO standup paddleboard range is light, stable, high quality and easy to carry. It’s available in the standard 10’4 size as well as a cruising and touring model, for those who prefer more speed or are keen to explore further afield. The AIR EVO Convertible can be used as a SUP board as well as a Wing Surf board, ideal for anyone wanting to try out the new sport.
